Fabric Operations Data Agency ("Fabric," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our restaurant operations platform and SMS messaging service.

Information We Collect

Account information: When you register for Fabric, we collect your name, email address, phone number, restaurant name, and business details you provide during onboarding.

Restaurant operational data: With your authorization, we connect to your point-of-sale (POS) system, payroll system, and accounting software using read-only API access. We collect sales transaction data, menu item information, employee hourly rates and scheduling data, and financial summaries. We do not access or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or customer personal information from your POS system.

Invoice data: When you forward invoices to Fabric via email, SMS, or direct upload, we extract vendor information, line items, quantities, and pricing to calculate ingredient costs.

Inventory data: We collect inventory counts you provide through the dashboard, text message, or voice input.

SMS and communication data: We store the content of text messages sent between Fabric and your team to provide our service and improve our recommendations.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number during Fabric onboarding, you consent to receive operational text messages from Fabric. These messages include daily playbooks, margin alerts, inventory alerts, weekly rollups, and responses to your questions. Message frequency varies based on your notification preferences, typically 1-3 messages per day.

Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You can opt back in by replying START or by updating your preferences in the Fabric dashboard. For help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@fabric.so.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS content with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We retain your operational data for the period you select in your Fabric settings (default: indefinite). You can request a full data export or deletion at any time by contacting us. When you disconnect an integration or close your account, we delete the associated data within 30 days.
